Hi everyone!

Here we go -- Backerkit is greenlit and ready to go live! Watch for your unique Backerkit link to be emailed to the address associated with your Kickstarter account on WEDNESDAY!

Full disclosure: Backerkit recommends we send what they call a "smoke test" to a small, random percentage of our list to make sure things are working correctly. So 83 of you may have gotten a survey already (and it looks like a few of you have even already answered)! But the remaining 95% of the surveys will go out at 10am CST this Wednesday October 7th! That's about as fair as we can make it.

Please note that many of our campaign exclusive bonus items are EXTREMELY LIMITED! After taking everything into account, we anticipate only the following quantities of certain items will be available for add-on:

• Sketchbook: only 25 available!
• Vinyl single: only 20 available!
• Patch: only 20 available!
• Dodgeball: only 20 available!
• Enamel pin: only 20 available!

I truly don't see our being able to increase the print run on those particular items, so what we have on order now will be it. Those few extras listed above will be the last!

Backerkit survey update -- slight day, but NEXT WEEK!

Hi everyone, 

Just a quick note to say that the Backerkit is just about ready to launch, but Backerkit support offered a couple of questions and considerations that we wanted to implement. So now its just a matter of them flipping the switch, which might be over the weekend or more likely Monday (we don't want to assume they work weekends). Regardless, we will still give you at least 24hours notice! So if it is greenlit Monday morning, we'll give you the heads up as to when to watch for your survey link on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Sorry for the short delay, but we wanted to make sure its all done correctly!

Hey everyone!

While we get the final pieces in place to open up the Backerkit, we'd like to get your input on how things went and are going so far. So to that end, we have put together a questionnaire that we would really appreciate if you could take a few minutes to fill out. Mostly opinion questions, but things that will help us fine tune as we look ahead at future campaign ideas. And as incentive to hopefully nudge you into responding, we'll add $.50 cents in credit to your Backerkit account (once those are live... soon...). That might not sound like much, but it can help offset shipping costs or add-ons you might be interested in. Plus, we will randomly select one person from all survey responses to receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card. How's that for incentive?

Note: this is not the Backerkit survey, but rather a separate questionnaire meant to provide us with some helpful marketing feedback. Keep watching for news on that coming soon!

Backerkit surveys coming soon... get ready!

Hi everyone!

First of all, we hope you're all doing well these days! Secondly, sorry for the silent week last week! So much going on, we just this morning realized it has been 10 days since our last update! We really want to keep you updated with better frequency, so count on that moving forward...

Last week we finished up the book layout (both covers) and sent it off to the printer. So that piece is set and rolling! 

We also formalized our item count for all of the bonus items and will be ordering those as soon as possible. (We also wrapped up the final mastering of the two vinyl singles tracks, so those will start engraving this week... and for anyone not familiar with music production, mastering is always the hardest part...)

The big question many of you are asking is "have the Backerkit surveys gone out? Have I missed it?"

The answer is "No, you haven't missed it yet! Backerkit surveys are going out very soon!"

We are just waiting for Kickstarter to formally close their collection process, which should be any day now. Once they have officially closed their part of the campaign, we will open the Backerkit by emailing you the surveys. Right now, we're hoping that will be this Friday, October 2nd, but we will make that announcement LOUD AND CLEAR in an update at least 24hours ahead of time!
