We're amazed at how quickly those additional vinyl rewards went! Congrats to those who got in on them before they were gone! We gotta admit, we've continued to be caught off guard by the demand, but we're looking into whether we can scrape together a few more before the end of the campaign. They are individually engraved and hand-packaged, so it's not just a matter of increasing a number before hitting 'print'... they take some time to make! But if we can work it out before the campaign is up we will do our best to give you all the heads-up ahead of time so everyone has an equal shot at them.

You may have noticed bundled into a couple of the tiers an additional book by Merwan called PISTOUVI, an adorably melancholy fairy tale about a girl and her fox friend living in a lush valley surrounded by wonders. Together they get up to mischief, but sooner or later mischief must give way to growing up...
It's kinda like Winnie the Pooh as if scored by Radiohead.

Merwan brings his deep sense of identifiable characterization and relationships to this tale beautifully illustrated by Bertrand Gatignol, who you may (ne should) know from his amazing dark fantasy series, THE OGRE GODS. (That's a whole other strong recommendation you should look into... we could spring board from one amazing Magnetic book to the next all night...)

We love everything about this book -- it's funny, familiar, strange, and heartbreaking all at the same time. Some might say it is 'so very French', but that's just an indication of the poignant layers of meaning laced throughout the story from beginning to end. Yes, decoding the symbolism is one of the best parts about this book... (PS: this book is in English.)
While it is extremely different from ASTER OF PAN in almost every way, we are certain you will love it just as much nonetheless. We STRONGLY encourage you to consider one of the bundle tiers if you haven't already.

Hey everyone! Just a very quick update to let everyone know that due to AMAZING and COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED demand, we've raised the number of vinyl singles to 50 copies. Not only to be fair to those backers around the world who might have missed the original posting last night while they slept, but also to make a few more of you happy. We're new to the vinyl scene so we didn't want to over-commit prematurely, but clearly there's more interest there than we had thought.
Still ultra-limited, individually engraved (which sounds superior to traditional embossed vinyl pressing), etc. So still a Super-Collectible even at 50! :)

We apologize for running rather silent these past several days... to be honest, this campaign took off with such a fantastic first day, unlocking three stretch goals in the first 24 hours, we thought we might have a little more time to get the others ironed out. When you helped us blow past the fourth goal for the original soundtrack, we hunkered down to get the rest of the pieces lined up quickly!
And now you've gone and unlocked the fifth goal too, which we're kinda psyched to reveal... A few of you joked about the availability of a vinyl soundtrack, but joke no more... we're unlocking a brand new reward tier for a super-limited edition clear vinyl 7" single with exclusive two-sided 4-panel poster!
We've been lining things up with an outfit that presses actual, high-quality stereo vinyl recordings and will have only 20 of these things made available. They'll be pressed on really cool, clear vinyl with full color labels and sleeve like an actual artifact scavenged from the world of Pan. Inside the sleeve you'll find an equally super-limited edition full-color poster with the two different book cover images on either side. Unfolded, they will measure 13"x13".
Yeah, but what about the music? Each side of this 7" single will feature a different track, each one a high-energy club piece remixed from the full unlocked OST. While the full OST will feature a mix of cinematic EDM and moodier background set pieces, the single will feature two exclusive remixes from the OST (which those lucky backers will also get digitally... they may be released wider later on, but we'll see.) So if you liked the music in the trailer video, you will dig these tracks, too.
This new tier will be priced at $75, and will include a digital and physical copy of the book with signed tip-in plate. And again -- only 20 will be available! So upgrade fast and be one of the lucky few!
We also got the road map together for the next four stretch goals (which we never thought we'd have to figure out, but we wanna keep this party rolling)! Next up at $40k, we'll be unlocking another bonus item that EVERYONE (*at a physical reward tier) will get for FREE!
This large, woven iron-on patch will be included with all physical tier reward packages (as well as afterward as an add-on). We're still playing with different design ideas, but it may be something like the above team/sports club logo. (Open to feedback and suggestions (as long as you're nice about it...))
After that, we've gone ahead and placed markers in the sand to indicate when the next unlocks will occur. But we won't reveal what they are until the previous goal is unlocked. Yes, we do have them worked out now, but we wanna keep some mystery leading you all forward...
Okay, that's all for now, but we have a bunch of other cool stuff lined up for more updates throughout the week, so you won't go such a long stretch again without hearing from us. Promise! In fact, we're excited for what we have to share tomorrow!
